As Entegre Project Management, we have published the Q4 2024 Turkey Construction Sector Report, compiled from sectoral insights.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the global economy showed stable growth. The OECD revised its growth forecasts for the US and China to 2.8% and 2.4% for 2024, and 4.9% and 4.7% for 2025, respectively. This growth positively impacted the construction sector, especially in developing countries.

In Turkey, the construction sector grew by 9.3% with the support of urban transformation projects and infrastructure investments, outperforming the overall economy. However, high-interest rates, difficulties in accessing financing, and supply chain challenges continued to pressure the sector.

According to the chain volume index, the growth rates of activities contributing to the GDP in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the same period of the previous year are as follows:

• Services: 3.2%

• Finance and Insurance Activities: 3.3%

• Real Estate Activities: 1.3%

• Agriculture: 4.7%

• Construction: 8.7%

• Industry: 1.4%
